Suzuki Samurai Mixture Control Solenoid
Based on changing inputs from sensors, the computer changes pulse width supplied to the mixture control solenoid. The solenoid then leans or richens the carburetor mixture as needed.
If your Samurai carbureted engine warms up and then stalls or quits running, this could be the problem.
You can also check your Mixture control valve jet check valve. Check yours by blowing in one direction or by using a vacuum guage through the other direction. It should work like a check valve. If this is bad, then it is a much easier and less inexpensive fix than the mixture control valve itself.
Symptoms of Failure:
- Rich Mixtures
- Catalyst Odor
- No Start Conditions
- Warm up and stall or quits running
Fits all Carbureted Samurais with Hitachi Carburetor.
Note: Some Canada Models have Aisan Carburetors. This will not work on Aisan Carbs.
