Front Toyota Axle Conversion Kit
We are proud to carry the Toyota axle conversion kit for the Suzuki Samurai. This kit allows the installation of a Toyota front axle under a Suzuki Samurai using either Jeep YJ leaf springs or Samurai Springs. Jeep Springs are 2.5 inch's wide, normal pack thickness is slightly over 1.250 inch's.
The issue you have to deal with when installing the Toyota axle under a Samurai is that the Toyota axle spring pads are 3/8" outside where the Samurai Springs mount. Some just mount things up but this causes many problems down the line. The other issue is that is you simply move the spring pads in 3/8" you cannot get a ubolt around the axle right next the the differential, it is just not possible without major modification.
That is why this kit is the answer. This kit allows installer to simply move Toyota spring perch eyes to Samurai width without massive reworking of existing axle housing. Kit consists of 1 plate that you weld to the factory perch on the diff side of the axle with a top plate that bolts down your spring to the lower plate. It still uses one ubolt on the outside for ultimate strength. For the long side of the axle you simply remove you factory perch and weld the new included taller perch, 3/8" inward. Comes with all needed hardware and ubolts. Please specify what year front axle you have because the u-bolts do change.

Sky Suzuki Samurai
to
Toyota Axle High Steer Kit
For those running Toyota axles this is the steering solution
you will need. The drag link is built to mate up to the Samurai
or Sidekick steering box. Kits come with Toyota 4140 billet
steel arms, FJ-80 tie rod ends, .250 wall 1.250 DOM tube,
and 23 mm jam nuts. Some other companies are selling cast
steering arms in the Suzuki to Toyota kits, ask before you
buy as you can get better quality billet parts for the same
price. Also these arms are shorter than competitors arms,
the reason for this is retain full steering radius. Your Samurai
pitman arm is much shorter than the stock Toyota pitman arm,
thus you need a shorter arm on the axle to work with the Samurai
box. Make sure this kit will work for your setup, we know
it will not work with some coil kits.

3 Hole Spring Perches
When installing lifted rear leaf springs, it's best to rotate
the pinion so it points directly at the rear transfer case
output flange and use a CV style drive shaft. The best way
to rotate the pinion is to cut off the old perches and weld
in a new set at the proper angle. Normally the spring pin
is installed in the center hole but you can also move the
rear axle forward or backward 1" by using the optional
holes. Made from 1/4 plate steel. Unpainted finish.

Single Line Proportioning
Valve
For those doing the swap on a 88.5 and older Samurai/Sierra,
you have to figure out how to adapt the double rear brake
lines to the single line of the Toyota axle. We have found
that by replacing your factory 2 line-in, 2 line-out Proportioning
valve with this 2 line-in, 1 line-out Proportioning
valve, it is safe and easy. Small modifications of your factory
hard lines must be done for correct fitment and can be done
with your hands. We carry new valves and used ones
upon availability. Used ones cannot be 100% guaranteed
not to leak.

Toyota Drive Line
Adapters
It is a well known fact that Samurai drive lines weren’t
the strongest ever built. Fortunately there is a great low
cost alternative to custom made drive shafts. These spacers
allow you to replace the stock pretzel you just bent with
a much stronger Toyota drive line. They are also a good thing
to have when you are doing the common Toyota axle swap.
Choose with or without hardware.
