It was so easy to swap In my new cs130 alternator using this bracket. I wish I would have bought it sooner. Heavy duty and high quality I would definitely recommend to anyone look to do the swap. (Posted on 10/27/2017)

I purchased/installed both the bracket & GM Alternator Kit from LROR over a year ago, installation was simple and the fit was perfect. The design tolerance's were dead on for my application, even after replacing the oil pump recently the fit was perfect. (Posted on 10/20/2016)
Buy it! Review by Dan

I bought the bracket and picked up a CS130 100 amp alt from an 88 Buick with a V belt (O'Reilly 01-0381) and an alt plug (O'Reilly PT200) and a 7735 MasterPro V belt. I had to buy a bolt for the adjuster (10 mm X 1.25 X 1 inch) and hog out the adjuster slot a little so the bolt would fit. I did a little grinding on the adjustment bracket to clear the new alt. Now I get 15 volts at idle and my headlights are super bright. (Posted on 3/30/2016)

Great product
I highly recommend buying one to upgrade to a more powerful amp output
It made huge difference on my samurai
I believe I used a 55 mm auto zone v belt and a Chevy 79 Camaro alternator (Posted on 12/1/2015)

This made a huge difference in my samurai. I bought they kit and alternator from LROR. They were both extremely easy to install and I noticed the difference immediately. I would highly recommend this as well as the alternator. (Posted on 10/8/2015)

I didn't seem to have the fitment issues some other buyers had. Low range must have refined the design a little. Rather than use the recommended 10SI I used a 75A CS121 which is physically a little bit smaller than a CS130 and it fit the bracket just fine. A 10SI,12SI or CS121/CS130 (with the correct front housing)should all fit this bracket with no problem. (Posted on 7/29/2015)

I had problem with one of the bolts lining up top bolt that goes into side of block. Have 3 engines here on stands the bolt hole was not in the right place to fit any of my engines. I took my dermal tool to elongate it to make it work. It was only off by about 1/32" but it was enough to not let bolt thread in straight. I like the product just could not wait for another one. Fast fix and easy! (Posted on 4/24/2015)
Excellent Upgrade and Easy To Install Review by Outback Joe

This is a very easy upgrade since the bracket is a quality part to start with. This makes adding a high output alternator super easy and fast. You will need to make sure that you have the correct pulley on the new alternator or be able to bore out the pulley on the original. The hardest part is getting the new alternator down into the original area. Overall this is an easy upgrade that anyone can do. Highly recommend if you are thinking of any new electrical equipment or want the availability of this very common alternator. (Posted on 9/18/2014)
not a quality item Review by Michael

The bracket I received was poorly made. The bracket attaches to the motor with two bolts and only one of the holes in the bracket actually lined up. For some reason, the bracket is too wide for the alternator bolt up so you have to use a spacer to get the pulley to line up correctly. Even with the spacer mine didn't line up and the spacer really makes installation a hassle. Anyway, guess I got a bad one. Just doesn't seem to be a well made high quality item.

Low Range Reply:
-The Bracket attaches to the factory 3 locations of the OE alternator bracket as seen in the picture. Two on the side and one on the front. You would be the first to say anything about an alignment issue and we will look into it.
-As for the bracket being to wide, it is part of the design of the product. It works for several different applications from the 1.3L and 1.6L engines and for those using either the V-belt or Serp-Belt Pulleys.
-There are also different size fans, spacers, and pulleys on the front of the GM alternators for different applications that you might have to try to line up your belt depending on what alternator you sourced. (Posted on 9/5/2014)
