Sidekick/Tracker/Vitara 4.24:1 Rockmonster Transfer Case Gears
Adding bigger tires to your rig and feeling the power loss on the trail? Here is your answer. Trail Tough's 4.24:1 Rockmonster gears for the Suzuki Sidekicks and Chevy/Geo Trackers from 1991 to 1998 and the Suzuki Vitara, Grand Vitara and Chevy Trackers from 1999 to 2001. These gears provide 134% low range reduction from stock.

“Undertaker” Sidekick / Tracker Underdrive

The “Undertaker” is the solution to the Suzuki Sidekick and Geo Tracker gearing woes. No need for insufficient or weak ring and pinions. It is designed for a direct bolt-up between your Sidekick transmission and Transfer case. This 1.5 to 1 Underdrive allows you to achieve proper gearing even with 35 inch tires. Now with 33’s you can use 4.62 axle gears for perfect highway operation or 35’s with 4.88 axle gears.

As an added bonus because its in front of the transfer case, it multiplies the low range gearing by 1 ½ times. The 4.24 transfer case gears become 6.3 to 1 !! The “Undertaker” comes with a new universal cross-member and full circle unbreakable tranny and transfer case mounts.

Driveshaft modifications will be required. Adding 4.5 inches to the front one and removing 4.5 inches from the rear.

Drive Line Spacers
Adding lift to your Sidekick or Tracker can over extend the slip yoke on the drive shaft. The easiest and most cost effective fix is adding a drive shaft spacer. Doing so avoids the hassles of making a new drive shaft, which is not only difficult but expensive. The spacer works by attaching between drive shaft flanges. Each kit comes with new bolts, nuts, and lock washers. Unlike other drive shaft spacers on the market, each spacer is double anodized blue for superior corrosion resistance. Plus our zinc plated hardware will not rust like other kits using black oxide.

Each kit comes with new bolts, nuts, and lock washers. Choose from 3/4", 1" and 1 1/4".

Sidekick / Tracker Slip Yoke Eliminator

This Slip Yoke Eliminator kit allows use of heavy duty or CV type driveshafts and assures that you are able to keep driving on at least one axle in the event of a driveshaft failure.

NOTE: Requires drilling and tapping of the transfer case output shaft and is for use with fine spline rear output shaft type transfer cases.

Sidekick / Tracker Rebuilt Manual Transmissions

These Transmissions are fully rebuilt. They are gone through with fine tooth comb and replace all parts that are not up to spec including all roller bearings and syncros. Most Inputs are replaced as well. $350 core charge.
