The Inchworm double transfer case adapter kit allows you to use the reduction box from a gear driven Toyota transfer case as an additional underdrive unit between the stock transmission and transfer case. A stock transfer case has a 2.28:1 low range gear ratio. With the Inchworm Double Transfer Case Adapter the two stock gear ratios multiply to give you 5.2:1 with both cases in low. Lower ratios are available by stacking more transfer cases or by adding low range gearsets to one or more of the cases. The adapter plate is machined from solid 6061 T6 billet aluminum. This kit includes a coupler shaft machined from 8620 gear steel and utilizes the factory bearings and thrust washer. The adapter plate and reduction box together are about 6 3/8 inches long. Driveshaft, crossmember, and floor modifications are required. Made in the USA.
