Crossover Steering is critical for rock crawling. The stock steering just can't keep pace with today's super flexible suspension systems. The stock push-pull system on Toyota Pickups limits flex and steering radius when used in lifted applications. This results in broken stock steering arms and loss of steering.
Our high steer kit features unbeatable quality at a super low price.
Kit features super beefy, solid forged steering arms, heavy duty pitman arm, heavy duty .250 wall steering rods, and heavy duty FJ-80 tie rod ends. This kit was designed to be used with an IFS steering box and is ideal for solid-axle converted trucks.
Precision fit for easy assembly. Going with a 6 Stud Crossover Kit gives you the option of upgrading in the future with a 6 Stud knuckle if it doesn’t fit the budget right now. Four and six stud arms and knuckles can be interchanged. You can bolt a four stud arm to a six stud knuckle and a six stud steering arm will also fit on a four stud knuckle. This allows you to upgrade your steering system in stages, doing either the knuckles or the steering arms first.
Please Note: If you have a factory equipped solid axle, a IFS steering box and mounting kit can be purchased separately.
Please Note: Flat Steering Arm Requires Mounting the steering box differently on IFS Trucks. If you choose to use a Flat Steering Arm on Factory Equipped Solid Axle Trucks, an IFS Box Mount Kit will be needed and the box will have to be mounted different on the frame due to pitman arm to frame clearance.
Standard Pitman Arm's work best with IFS Trucks Converted to Solid Axle and Solid Axle Trucks Converting to Crossover Steering. Most people use flat pitman arms if they are trying to stop their pitman arms from contacting their axle, leaf springs, links or link mounts.
