1.6L 8 Valve Tourqer and High Performance Replacement Cam (camshaft)

We have carrier many cams in the past and have settled on one brand for its high quality and performance gains. These cams just cannot be beat. Other cams we have seen are low quality and use old technology. Not the case with these cams. We have 2 to choose from for the 8 Valve engine. These will require the use of the 1.3L Distributor housings, if you do not have one we sell them as well and your 1.6L distributor will work just fine with the 1.3L housing.

The Touquer 260 cam that will give great low end power and torque and is great for those looking to crawl those hills and rocks. Power band will be in the 1000-4000 RPM range.

The HP 272 cam with give great top end power for you mostly street rig or those looking to fly up the hills and through the mud. Power band will be in the 2200-5500 RPM range. (Not suggested if running the 1.6L 8v Fuel Injection, will work great if using carburated though)

Note: With new 8v cams we HIGHLY suggest a set of new rockers below. If you choose to use the rockers you have on a different cam, you run the HIGH risk of destroying it. Been there, done that! Dont waste your money and time!

(These cams are tough to keep instock sometime. You may get a new billet cam or regrind. Either way you are getting a top quality cam that we have had no issues with)
