Suzuki Samurai OEM Transfer Case Mounts

Looking to replace your stock mounts? Other mounts on the market are basically solid mounts of bolt through designs and they do nothing but cause problems. Frame mounts rip off and mounting holes egg. If your show signs of damage, stress or wear, now is the time to replace them. It's also a great idea to keep one or two as spares in your tool box. Comes with lock washer and nuts.

Note: Please be aware of other mounts that are not OEM Suzuki. They are usually made of inferior materials to the factory ones.  Many manufacturers use too much fillers to their rubber such as chalk- it makes the rubber less pliable and more likely to break away from the plates that the rubber is bonded to.  If we found a better option than the factory ones, by all means we would push it...however to this date we have yet to find a better "non solid" mount than the factory Suzuki issued mounts.

Why is my mounts breaking? It could be that your factory transfer case brackets are bent, and with the added stresses of off roading the mounts have failed.    It also could be that the mounts you are using are old- rubber over time can deteriorate with the constant hot and cold temperatures that they are stressed with.  They also could have been oil soaked at one point in their life, causing chemical degradation.  It also could be caused by an extreme amount of torque applied to the mounts due to lower gear ratio's and higher drivetrain stress. 

Low Range Off Road has had these mounts tested by an independent lab, and the test results came back astonishing.  The OEM mounts were much stronger than the aftermarket supplier could produce.  We chose to continue using the OEM Rubber Mount, because for the most part- they have been used on your Samurai for 24 years so far, why should they not be able to provide another 10 years at least in a high stress environment?
