We can picture you trying to fix the threads on your factory Samurai shackle pins because you mushroomed them- beating the shackle with a hammer.  Its typical that the rubber bushings can seize the leaf spring to the shackle or vise versa. Its typical that the shackles look like trash when you take them off, and it is typical that the bolts or pins are so rusted that they would make your bushings wear out quick. Learn More

The factory spring bolt on a Samurai is 12mm (.472 inch). All Aftermarket Shackles are 1/2" holes (.500 inch). These are the bolts used with aftermarket shackles with Energy Suspension Bushings for Aftermarket Shackles. NOTE: On the Samurai for the fixed mount (non shackle end) you will need to drill out to 1/2" with these bolts when used with aftermarket shackle bushings. These are priced at $1.99 for the bolt, the 2 washers and nut. For a whole Samurai you will need 12 bolt kits. If you have purchased aftermarket shackles, you will only need 4 bolt kits to be used on the fixed spring end. Learn More
