Samurai Rear Plate Style Bumper w/ Swing Away Tire Carrier

The ultimate in rear bumpers for the Samurai just got even better! Our new ¼” formed plate rear bumper features a 1-piece design that compliments our wide front bumper selection and provides the ultimate in strength. Bumper mounts directly to the frame and clamps securely to the frame cross-member tube. The bumper corners and ends are also formed from 3/16” plate steel and completely welded for maximum rock or tree stump protection off-road! Additional features include OE taillight mounting tabs and 1” D-Ring shackle mounting points. Bumper comes complete with license plate mounting frame and hardware and is finished in semi-gloss black powdercoat for extra corrosion resistance. The swing away portion of the bumper rides on self lubricating Delrin bushings and provide easy one hand operation for movement of the carrier. Our swing arm uses a new dual-locking latch mechanism for a rattle-free attachment. The bumper will clear up to a 33" tall tire. The swing away carrier also includes a mount plate that can be used to mount a Jerry can for extra gas or a Hi-Lift jack as shown in the picture.
