The brand new T.I.G. welded fully stainless exhaust header is designed for long-term heavy use. A thick 3/8" head flange eliminates warping and leaks. It's also port matched to work on the Suzuki's rectangular exhaust port. Other headers use a round port. What does that match? The header also features a 02 sensor port at the 3-bolt flange. OEM Style Header Gasket
Almost every header manufacturer includes an exhaust gasket that is not made like the OEM part. What makes the OEM Suzuki Style header gasket the best one? If you want your spark plug wires to have less resistance, you want to eliminate heat. Even though the wires are insulated, heat can cause a wire to have an incredible amount of resistance. More resistance means reduced spark energy. Therefore, it is best to keep the spark plug wires cooler, hence why we like the OEM Style Header gasket because it directs heat away from the wires and protects them from heat degeneration. The OEM Style Header gasket matches the exhaust ports and factory bolt holes much better than any aftermarket gasket we have seen. Using a gasket that has larger openings for the ports creates a smaller area to seal against the head.
o2 Sensor Port Located at Collector
Why have the o2 Sensor located at the lower collector and not just between the 1 and 4 cylinder exhaust tubes? Well the question is really answering itself... the o2 sensor is only reading the exhaust on 2 cylinders. Putting the o2 Sensor at the collector ensures that your fuel is being monitored efficiently and correctly rather than keeping track of only 2 cylinders. This is especially important on 8V Throttle Body Fuel Injected Models.
